‘Pacemaker’, helmed by David Suda, successfully defended the 2008 J24 Victorian State Title held on the 19th and 20th April.

Light conditions caused delays on both days and restricted the second day to 1 race. On Saturday, 4 races were completed in perfect south easterlies of 10 to 15 knots. Sunday’s race was sailed in a light southerly breeze of 5 knots, with plenty of holes, making the race very challenging. Clear blue skies and mild temperatures over the 2 days made the sailing even more pleasant.
